Jack Wardale
Jack, a Director at Terra Instinct, leads sustainability services in the built environment. An award-winning Chartered Building Services engineer with 15+ years in construction and real estate, Jack has diverse experience, including 2 years in technical due diligence for a climate tech VC. Previous roles include contributions at AECOM, where he delivered complex construction projects globally. Jack also founded EcoBuild Advisory (EBA), specializing in net-zero carbon studies, strategy development, and energy optimization masterplanning.
Holding dual master’s degrees from the University of Cambridge, Jack is highly skilled in building decarbonization and has contributed to extensive research in the field. He’s an expert in end-to-end delivery of decarbonization projects for existing buildings, a member of the UK Green Building Council’s Solutions and Innovation Advisory Group, and regularly presents technical seminars for the Chartered Institute of Building Services Engineers.
