John Russell

John, Director at Terra Exchange, developed the platform’s algorithm, simplifying the rules of trading Biodiversity Net Gain units, including spatial risk multipliers.

John’s previous experiences include coding trading strategies for a hedge fund in Hong Kong. Immediately before joining the Terra family, John spent six years at KPMG, where he qualified as a chartered accountant with the ICAEW. John also re-engineered KPMG Crown Dependency’s Audit Data strategy and led the Digital team in collecting and analysing client data.
