Executing a biodiversity net gain unit acquisition involves the coordination of multiple stakeholders, each with their own responsibilities and duties. We have a strategic relationship with Responsible Bodies. We strongly advise landowners to use Conservation Covenants issued by DEFRA-authorized Responsible Bodies, or a Section 106 (S106) agreement issued by a Local Planning Authority (LPA), as this allows for a consistent and predictable process nationwide. Once all agreements are signed, we facilitate the registration of the units with Natural England, marking the successful completion of the transaction.
